25-26" If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.

27-29" Has anyone by fussing in front of the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? All this time and money wasted on fashion—do you think it makes that much difference? Instead of looking at the fashions, walk out into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.

30-33" If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Hey everybody,

I just wanted to share a little today about what i see are the missing ingredients in alot of our lives, speaking especially to the musicians, singers, artists of the world...Many of us don't have PASTORS in our lives.. We are traveling all around the world, doing things we say are for God, but we don't have a LEADER.. The scriptures states in Jeremiah 3:15

15And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Alot of us are doing things that are noble and good but we truly don't have the knowledge and the understanding of it.. Not just of the gifts that we have but how they apply to the kingdom and the BIG picture.. Alot of us say we want JESUS CHRIST but not HIS CHURCH.. how can that be? That's like saying you want to be my friend, but won't accepty my wife and children.. I'm sorry ,but we are a package deal.. and that's how it is with The Lord.. The only place that Jesus said that the gates of hell would not prevail, could not prevail was the CHURCH, where our pastors are found.. You may say, I've been hurt here or there or they don't treat me like this or that..Guess what, they hurt us on our jobs, schools, careers, etc too.. But we all deal with it and keep pushing through.... I have found that since I have found my PASTOR and decided to submit myself, my family and career to his leadership in Christ, EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS ME has been elevated, improved, encouraged, inspired, etc ...And some of the very things that i am experiencing now are in direct result of my PASTOR praying and speaking into my life on a daily basis..I don't attend a mega church.. don't like those.. I attend a church, like cheers, where everybody knows my families name..They know my children, they look out for us.. We still have elderly women who come up and wrap their arms around you and say that i'm praying for you and I love you..

There are alot of people hating on PASTORS AND CHURCHES these days,but you can't have Jesus without him..He calls the church his bride...

So If you're looking for DIRECTION for your career or dream, find a church and a pastor that has Gods heart for his people and you will find in that place resides all you'll ever need to experience the place that until now you've only dreamed about..

Yes, i know, its been a looong time!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that today is my wife and I's 15th weddding
anniversary!!! Honestly, i cannot believe that we are here..As a couple we
have gone through so much..so many valleys, so many hurdles, wow.. but God is faithful.. I am the first to tell anyone to make sure you know its God
because marriage is a lifetime effort..We kinda kicked off a pre celebration
last night with our children at the CheeseCake Factory..We may have sampled half the menu!!! Our waitress was feeling that when it was time for us to pay!!! She got hooked up..lol I think i'm gonna treat my lady to a nice massage today....She really deserves it...She is a great mom!!! I think
she's being throwing me hints..and I heard them loud and clear!! lol I hope
that each of you are having a good day, let's talk more often..

Family,

Just wanted to drop a few lines to let you know what was going on in my world. I had a very early day today. I had to meet with the marketing director from EMI in the airport at 7am. She is going over to Japan to present my album Days of My Life V3 and Smokie Norful to Toshiba-Emi for possible a release in Asia. It's a great opportunity and I really believe that it will be successful. After i returned home, i had the monumental task of cutting my grass, which in some place had grown about a foot tall (a brotha's been busy! give me a break lol!). Also a few days ago, my pastor informed me that he wanted me to appear on TBN with him in October. I appreciate him looking out for me. The video for 'The Only One' which i have on the main page will be releasing soon. I am so excited about that. The production company has finished the final edit and we are almost ready to go. The response has been tremendous so far and we are looking forward to getting that song to the world. We know that it will cross over into CCM, Gospel and even some Jazz and R&B networks. I wanted to send another shout out to all my new friends in the U.K and The Click Club, the hottest spot in downtown London.

On the production tip, I have finished up most of my work and am back in the studio writing songs and being creative. To all of my myspace friends who sent messages or comments and haven't heard back from me yet, please don't think that you are being ignored. I appreciate everyone of your words and thoughts. They have made me smile so many times. I wanna say, "what's up?" to my family, the "Roc Music Group" that put Rochester and NY on the map baby! Battle Roy! Grand Tone! I am scheduled to be in the Bronx for 5 days from Aug 28-Sep 2. I will present more details later. Well, I think that is all for now. I will drop another update soon. Peace!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to drop you all a few lines about my first day in London. All I can say is that this city is huge! It has to at least be the size of Chicago. The people seem cool and it is a little different sitting as a passenger where I would be driving normally. This city has cameras everywhere. They watch you every move here. The jury is still out on that one. But I guess if you need immediate help they can get it to you. I took a walk down to canary wharf last night. It's kind of like the financial district here. I went to a few shops and hung out for a bit. I did not eat much for dinner, had a coke and a turkey Caesar salad sandwichwith chips. I am really excited about the award show tonight and meeting all of the media that will be there also. I haven't been able to find my manager, but other than that things are well. It's cool walking around with a pocket full of money over here, known as pounds. It's heavier but nonetheless does the trick in stores. The US dollar is not very valuable over here anymore.
